Irma Marco is an artist, researcher, and educator. She holds a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and is a Lecturer in Information and Communication Sciences at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). She works within the artistic field from a site-specific perspective, utilizing formats such as installation, text, sound, and editorial publishing. She is interested in collaboration, appropriation, and exchange as strategies to create spaces for debate. Currently, her research explores the potential of art to activate civic conversations regarding the transformation of everyday life in relation to digital living.
